thanks for the link. I have a few GUI's and easy installers that have worked fine in the past on older firmwares. I just never did it on any OFW as recent as 4.05 and was wondering if there are any new changes to the procedure.
if that guide is still relevant (it was written in jan 08) than i will just use what I have since it is more current than january.

also, looks like this one is a TA-082 board. will that effect anything?

It shouldn't, just don't downgrade to 1.50 or it will brick.
