I am literally a newbie. No how about games dowloading, etc. Purchased this console for the idea that i can buy games, plug it in and play. But come to find out, there's more to it.
I've been reading/surfing this past few days until late night still i can't find the right answer, instructions on how to upgrade to one of the homebrew enabled firmware versions as advise by PSP BLENDER (preferably/recommended M33 firmware).
If anyone out there has the kindest heart, please help. If i can't seemed to get this thing done, i guess i'll just give this PSP a rest (it's giving me too much headache).
All i need is just a clear/concise step by step instruction or even just a link.
I've read also that you can downgrade for me to play this downloaded games (another option for me to be able to download this games - iso format) but this "pandora battery" doesn't work with firmware 4.05.
(purchased PSP blender, come to find out what's the point of this downloaded games, it doesn't work in my console).

if that's all you want to do you don't need custom firmware just a credit card to shop for games !
assuming you didn't really mean what you said... follow some of the tutorials there's lots of information available. regarding downgrading your FAT 4.05 you should be able to downgrade any fat using universal unbricker...

Do NOT use PSP Blender. It's a scam, it just teached you how to use torrents (which are free by the way). Using PSP Blender is just as illegal than using torrents.
To downgrade (and get a custom firmware) or unbrick your PSP, you need the Pandora's Battery. There is three ways to get the Pandora Battery.
1. Find a someone who has a Custom Firmware that is willing to let you borrow their psp. You will use their psp to softmod the battery. Meaning using software to make the Pandora. If you willing to do this, follow this guide:
GUIDE
2. Hardmod the battery. Meaning that you have to open that battery up, and pulling out a pin. Note that if you pull the wrong one, your battery would be messed. If you are willing to do this, follow this guide
GUIDE
3. The most safest way, is to buy a premade pandora battery from the internet (use google or ebay). If so, follow this guide or use the same guide on the second step.

Thank you for all the info. I am planning just to buy the pandora battery and magic MS (too complicated for me to make one).
Now, is there a way you guys can i give a step by step instruction (understandable - if possible in laymans terminology) how to unbrick the system (this is once i receive pandora and magic MS). Or if anyone can give me a link of this instruction.

Few more questions:
1.) once we unbrick the official firmware, the UMD slot isn't usable? I mean, i can't use my other games (psp/umd)?
2.) can i still go back to the official firmware (4.05) if i desire? Especially if i start messing with the consoles software/system or if it won't work (unbricking) - will my console be good as trash if this happen, cannot be use at all?
3.) so basically, once you have your new firmware, i can just copy the game to my memory stick (iso/torrent, etc), right? or i need another system that i need to download in the MS for the games to work?
1. You are using the pandora battery to get you into custom firmware. Custom Firmware has the same features (the PSN store problem is kinda fixed) as an normal firmware. That means you can play UMD even UMD movies that needs different region.
2. Yes, you can. Using Pandora always work as long you made the Pandora battery and the magic memory stick correct.
3. I dont quite understand, you get your ISO (From a source...). Then you reformat the card via PSP. Then put the ISO game into the ISO folder. Then run it.
