175w for old xbox?

hi, my xbox 360 comes with 203w power supply now its not working someone offer me a 175w power supply is it okay?thanks

If the older 360 needs 203w to run properly and you want to try and use a 175w, which is less, I would say that's a bad idea wouldn't you?

I've never seen a 175w power supply but I'm betting the connections are different so that they can't be interchanged.

Some 360s that are designed to use 175w came with 203w power supplies. However, 175w power supplies don't work with 360s designed to take 203w power supplies. The plug won't fit.
