Why are some widescreen dvd's different? I have a widescreen tv that allows for differenct widescreen modes. Most movies look great and fill the screen, but some dvd's no matter what mode I choose still have letterboxing? Same as on Satellite... I get the occasional letterbox ppv that has black bars on top and bottom no matter what widescreen mode the tv is in. I thought by getting a widesreen tv I would eliminate this... and it has in most but not all movies. Are there different widescreen formats other than 16:9? Thanks in advance for your reply.
