Hey dudes, quick question. As you may know sony is pulling the PSP battery pack off the market, now, I own a white psp slim so I've been avoiding this pack and hoping they'd release one with a white cover but it seems they won't be doing that.

So my question was the following: Do non sony brand batteries work exactly as good and have the same life span as sony's official and overpriced batteries? I'm asking this because I do know there's are some memory sticks that aren't as good (or even won't run some homebrew).

It'd also be nice if someone could tell me a nice looking white fat battery cover that didn't look like cheap donkey ass. thanks :)

none of the third party batteries are as good as the official sony.

only japan has the white cover, and it's the official sony pack.

@cee43ja1 the batteries themselves are better? how? hmm. any idea where could I get a japanese set? I was asking, when not knowing of this set, if there were any third party covers that looked like the original. I'm gonna see if I can find that japanese one mmm

found it!

uhmm. kind of pricey XD

I mean, third party covers go for like 5 bucks, plus a third party 15$ battery. Meeh~ anyone have any experience cover shopping? I heard most the white ones have really poor quality.

there's a reason why it's pricey; it's high quality and from sony.

those cheap third party ones don't give a crap about quality and long term reliability; they're out there for the quick buck.
