when i turn the wii on it lights (red and blue) then fade out ....original will turn it blue but when i put in the back ups it does nothing......spins once stops spins again and nothing......i put it on a wii-clip v1 and i have tried both chips i have with both wii-clips and this is the results on both of them .......i have media as follows memorex dvd-r/memorex dvd+r.....sony dvd-r/sony dvd+r....colored memorex dvd-r....using both nero 8 and burn image ...trunca sighned and updates taken out as well as original isos...i know the iso are good i use to have a wiikey and they worked...HELP PLEASE HOURS OF FRUSTRATION!!

i just installed a d2ckey on a wii-clip and it only lights blue when originals are put in drive.
when i start the console it will light red&blue then fade out.i have tried this with two different wii-clips and two different d2ckeys.
nothing happens when i put backups in.

From what you are saying, that means your wii hates the D2C mod chip. Why not try a different chip? Also, could be that the soldering with the clip and the chip is somehow the problem. Try to strength the solderings and see what happens.
