its really starting to bug me so i found out its coming from the lcd and
the right sound of my psp. bout 5 milimeters of where the battery is.

I would assume it's a connection problem between the power and the lcd screen. Might be worthwhile taking it to someone to look at?

LCD making sounds very unlikely to be the LCD

next to the battery is the cogs for the umd laser thats likely to be making the noise.

is it realy loud or is it like a little buzzing that you can only hear when you put your ear to the psp?

if its a loud noise then it ether the umd drive or as alliana said it could be a bad connection with the LCD ribbions but i dont think that would make a loud sound but you can always taking the faceplate of and place the ribbons in tighter.

if its a quite buzzing then thats normal electricity makes sound from wasted energy

if everything is functioning properly i wouldnt worry as its not effecting the psp
