picture but no sound on copied DVD-R

I tried to copy a DVD-R movie, and most of the VOB files are fine, but there are 2 of them that have picture but no sound. I tried copying it again but still didn't work. Is this because the DVD-R I copied from had a few light scratches on it or is it something else? how can I fix it?
