im my previous post i posted that i thought my graphics processor had died but one of the members here said i just had to do the x-clamp and penny fix and do some resoldering now my question is how to i resolder it?

Part of the x-clamp fix is allowing the xbox to run for a period of time, I think most tuts say 15 to 20 minutes, to allow the chips to get hot enough to reflow the solder connections. These are connections that you wouldn't be able to access with a soldering iron, at least I would not be able to.

The 360 I was working on that had the no video but audio problem had corrosion on the mobo. It looked like someone poured a soda on it where the psu plugs in. I cleaned off the black, burnt looking parts and touched my soldering iron to any exposed joints that looked questionable. There were a couple of tiny resistors that were corroded and crumbled as I was cleaning it so I figured I would bridge those and see if it would work. Maybe not the smartest thing to do but it was an experiment, it didn't cost me any money, it didn't belong to a customer and it worked and has been great ever since.
