Thats a good example, yes. We have racing games we would like to link up and race; GT3 advanced for the GBA is one of them.

the emulator must support netplay. the only emulator that i've used with netplay is snes9xtyl 0.4.2

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

have you simply tried using ad-hoc?

-turn the host psp on
-host psp starts the desired game to be played
-host goes to multiplayer> ad-hoc
-waits for connection

-turn second psp on
-go stright from shell to network> ad-hoc
-connect to same channel as host psp
-game should start normaly

(thats the steps taken to run ad-hoc with one flashed psp, and one normal psp with out a umd)

try that and let me know if it works.
im in the process of flashing my girlfriends psp, so i will try this when im done.
but i have done this with personal experience with my 4.01m33, and her psp running ver. 2.00

no gba emulator has ad hoc

only the snes and nes emulators have the best ad hoc multiplayer ability

gpsp the newest one did have a test for ad hoc so hopefuly if the programmer has not finnished with the emulator it may be a function he will put in the next version

your best of sticking to psp games for playing multi player

the best this to set the ad hoc channel on is automatic so make sure as Wslp said that both psp's are on the same channel

Its not working. is it because one has the UMD and the other has an ISO?

It works!!!

BUT
our racing games have saved file that needs to be loaded to race your cars you upgraded. AND SO we both have the same version of the game so we have the same savefiles so when we load are save files with the same name(and cant rename or the save wont work)the games doesnt know whos who and the so now the game gliches out and our cars are different and the psp are not in sync anymore.

so how do u change the savefile but still make so it can be loaded?
