What the hell is wrong with my Bitdefender?

I have installed Bitdefender 10 many times, and it tells me that the setup was successful. But when I restart my computer, and try to open bitdefender, it says it has closed unexpectedly and gives me an option to send an error report or to quit the program.

I've tried re-installing, but that doesn't help.
I'm not running any anti-virus right now, so it can't be a compatibility issue, right?

What could be causing this problem?
Thanks to anyone who has a solution.
