I know this has been asked before but i cant seem to get a straight answer about this. i have a 3.95 psp slim and i want to downgrade it. from what ive read it seems the only way to do that is to use the Pandora battery/ magic memory stick method and to open the battery and mod it. does it matter what kind of psp u have or does the battery mod work on any psp? is it possible to do all that using one psp or do i have to have another and use the 2nd psps battery? and once done using the magic battery does it still work? and can anyone please give me a link to a guide on how to mod the battery.

dont mod the battery you will probably accidently break it...

instead find a place to buy a "Datel Battery Service-Mode Tool for Sony PSP/SLIM/2000"

its a tiny device that lets you switch the battery from regular battery -> service mode -> regular battery... its a genius little device and you won't have to risk destroying your battery by opening it

the memory stick can easily be formatted and re-used to do whatever you want...

the battery ... in theory you can revert the battery back to normal i believe it involves redrawing the cut circuit with pencil lead.

i suggest you take a look at the threads on where numerous people come on complaining that their hard-modded batteries no longer work... cause they did it wrong, cut the wrong part, and are now getting blank screens or flashing lights...

the chance you're going to do it right AND be able to revert it properly are slim.
