Hi, this is a simple question, but how do i unplug (take out) the xbox 360 hard drive, ive watched videos on youtube, it seems so easy, you push a button and it slides out.. but mine is like vietnam, i push the button it slides a little then its sealed, no way to take it out.
Any advice?

Pressing the button is all you should have to do. There is nothing more to it. I have taken them off of both my premium and elite models with no problem.

No it's the same exact design, they wouldn't design another case just for a different country.

Pics always help me for troubleshooting so i took some for you

here's what the 360 looks like without the hdd connected (case is empty)

here's a picture of the hdd placed on top so you can see how it all lines up. Notice the 2 plastic latches on the hdd don't come out very far.

This is what it should look like when you press the button. The two latches should move in and clear the holes on the top of the 360.

With all that being said i think that the latches aren't moving due to upward pressure. If you push the button and the hard drive down with a good amount of pressure and then use your other hand to pull up on the front of it, it should release itself. If it doesn't then try to tap on the sides where the latches are located and it might free them. If you do get the hdd out then make sure the latches are functioning properly before connecting it to the 360 again. If this doesn't work you can make a tool out of thin plastic to pop the latches (i'll post that if it's needed). Good luck
