i connected my xbox 360 to my 22inch monitor but i dont get sound i get a crystal clear picture but no sound, i heard that once u use the HDMI to DVI adapter the sound goes away. so i need help, i want sound how can i get it. o and also i heard that the 360 is going to get a price cut on the 60gb version on the 7th and i just got a 20gb so if anybody knows how to do a exchange without paying anything let me know.
what i had to do was head to my local bestbuy and get a video cable that hooks up to the 360 and monitor..but it also has audio cables with it that plau right into my speakers..not sure if u have the same setup or not..but thatshow i had to get sound from mine
What I do is use a HDMI to DVI cable and then I use the 360's A/V cable for the sound. Now, you can't fit both cables together unless you pop off the plastic grey thing then both will fit snuggly. Simple slide a thin blade or screw driver and twist.
This guy shows how to take off the plastic part, just scroll down to you see the picture and start reading above that. You stop after you get the case off, don't do all that other stuff he does.
ok thanks i got it off, but now how do i connect it to my speakers i have 5.1 logitech speakers, and i have 2 other speakers, i dont care which ones work i just want sound can u help me plz.
