Hi all.
I have copied about 3 movies and when viewing them I have noticed that at about mid way thru the movie will start to skip and then eventually freeze, could this be a compression problem or a problem when using RestoreIt, that is running in the background.
O/S xp pro
2.7 processor
500mb ram
LG dvd burner
9gb free space.

I hav ethe same thing going on I have copyied 20
or so dvd's and starting last week the last 4 dvd's that I copied does just like you was saying.
Did you ever find out why?

Havent found out the reason for the skipping, but I think it might be due to disc space, or disc speed.
Have you used any other ripping software like FAB have heard it is very good

What exactly is this RestoreIt? :-) It seems to be a potential source of system drain.

restoreIT is a disc recovery software.I have deleted it from my system and will try to do another copy of a disc but I still think the disc space or lack of could be the reason.I will let you know
