Hi there guys.
I have a fairly new Wii serial number LAH104551XXX. I recently took it to a shop here and they installed a d2pro mod chip in it for $139AUD.

Since then, the wii works fine in playing original and backup games.

Only thing is sometimes the disc will not eject or accept a disc when you try to insert one. After some research I've put this down to bugs in the mod chip firmware.

I've run the 1.6 utility disc on the d2pro website and it has not fixed the issue so I guess i need to upgrade the firmware on the modchip with the d2prog programmer.

I have just ordered one online and should receive it tomorrow hopefully.

The shop that installed my modchip has installed the flat cable so I wont need any soldering done.

I've searched around and cant find much info on d2prog or the process of updating.
Can anyone shed some light on how it works and what i need to do?
