Hi Everyone,

Just recently purchased a MSI TV@nywhere Plus video capture card in most cases I get fairly good results using it. Unfortunately the lack of documentation for this device leaves me scratching my head all to often.

I have two tasks I wish to accomplish. Copy home videos (VHS) to DVD at the highest possible quality. As most of these are 30 minutes or less I am not too concerned about file size.

Back up some quickly degrading movies (also VHS)to DVD. In this case the best possible quality resulting in file sizes that will actually fit on a DVD.

I'm really fumbling with 3 video setting in the software. These are:
1. Video input format.
Options are: UYVY
YUY2
RGB24

2. Capture format (profile).
Options are: MPEG1
MPEG2
MPEG4
AVI
VCD (NTSC)
DVD (NTSC)
SVCD (NTSC)

3. MPEG4 Codec.
Options are: DIVX
Microsoft V3
Microsoft V2
Microsoft V1

Any help you may have to offer with these setting is greatly appreciated.
