Problem encountered on first try.

This is the process followed:
Start Xpress
1. Insert DVD and click start
2. It prompts me to insert blank media to begin writing
3. It begins. It also clocks elapsed time and remaining time.
4. I get worried when remaining time gets to 9 hours.
5. Shortly thereafter it tells me that burn is complete. (Writing process may be 10 minutes if that.)
6. I pop back up DVD into my stand alone. It plays about 7 seconds before freezing.

My burner is a Pacific Digital Internal 4X DVD+/-RW Dual Drive. It copies cds fine. I have Roxio apps on the PC, so I plan on disabling those tonight.

These are Disney movies. One was one on DVD-R and one on DVD-RW...both Memorex. Any suggestions???
