Wii with Wiikey Wont Read Any Games

My wii with the wiikey wont read any of my originals or my backups, the wiikey is not a d2key and after i turn the wii off the disc continues to spin. The wii boots up just fine it just wont read games. All games worked just fine for about 4 months and now all the sudden it stopped reading everything. ever now and again a game might work but that is 1 in 100 chances. Please someone help

Question??

Do you have any external devices keyboards or wii fan units connected to your wii.

The reason i ask is certain wii fan's that plug into the usb ports on the nintendo wii pull so much voltage that the cd drive in the wii stops reading everything.

No there are no external devices and actually when i turn the wii off the disc continues to spin so its trying to read it but i guess the lens just isnt picking it up is the only thing i can think of.
