Okay this is the weirdest thing. I am trying to fix my friends PSP because his buttons werent working. He was on 3.71 and I figured I would bump him up to 4.01 M33-2 using my Pandora v.6. I bumped him up to M33 firmware and the buttons still didnt work. So after that I installed 4.01 OFW and it works fine. It seems like hacked firmware makes the buttons not work. The only way they will work is in the recovery menu. Im out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I had the same problem with my brothers psp. His button bar didnt work but for some reason it would work with ofw 4.01. On cfw 4.01m33-2 none of the buttons, DPad etc., would work.I changed the button bar and it worked fine with cfw and ofw 4.01. Its wierd, but you have to replace the button bar.
