Alright, I am about to get my BenQ DVD drive flashed and I've been downloading some games off of Xbox Sky and I've noticed it has PAL and NTSC within the names of the titles.

My question is, I know that the NTSC games will burn/play without a problem, however, if one of the games says PAL will it play on the NTSC system? I've opened the .NFO file on one of the games and it says Region Free: NO. So this game will not work on my NTSC 360 correct?

Then in another one it says Origin: NTSC/U (Region Locked) this game will be fine to burn no problems correct?

Then in another one it says Region/Country: PAL/NTSC but later on into the .NFO file under Release Notes it states: Prepatched, stealth image + iXtreme compatible, Region Free which means this game will work right since it's region free?

Sorry I am still a newbie at this but I just wanted to get all of this cleared up.

NTSC is for united states consoles only.
NTSC/U is for united states consoles only.
NTSC/J is for japan consoles only.
PAL is for the rest of the world consoles only.
Region Free can be played on any console.
