Madden 09 PAL Disc Unreadable

hi, i've got RANT's release of Madden 09 and have burnt it twice using Verbatim DVD+R DL. I have used imgburn .v2.4.2.0 both times and burnt at 2.4x and 2x. First time disc went in and said my xbox360 needed to update for this game/software and after the update was complete i got the disc unreadable message. 2nd time around it just went in and tried to load and went straight to that same error message. this is the first game i've had problems with. gta iv etc have worked fine so it shouldn't be the burner. Any ideas? Have i missed a fix that was released?

It could be as simple as just cleaning your disc. Check the dye on the disk is it a good color in comparison to you other burns. I also have this problem with some games. Madden was one of them until I just rinsed it under some soapy water. Sometimes my games work and sometimes they say unplayable disc. Also try playing a game from your hard drive and then inserting the disc. This seems to work quite well for me. I play an arcade game and then insert the disc without pausing or anything. Hope this helps. If worse comes to worse try looking up how to adjust your potentiometer on your dvd drive.
