I was wondering if anyone could confirm that the disk not spinning is consistent with a bad laser. The laser assembly moves to to correct location, the mechanical portion of the drives seems to work... just don't have any laser light or disk spinning, but I don't want to waste $80 on a new laser and have the thing still not spinng. Thanks for any help.
