PSP screen won't work help please

Well i go to use my psp a couple of days ago and i turn it on and the screen just looks all messed up like blotches of colors so i turn it off and restart the system. Now when i do that the psp turns on but nothing shows i can hear sound and everything its just that the screen doesnt work. So i think maybe my lcd screen has broke but when i turn it on again the psp starts just fine screen works and everything. Now the thing is that every time i turn the psp off even on standby the screen doesnt work when i turn it back on i have to take out and put back in the battery until it turns back on. And now today i turn it on and now it won't work at all. Anyone have any ideas?
My psp info is PSP Slim cfw 4.01 m33-2
