Hi there,

I just bought a psp off ebay and i bought fifa 08 to play it on! anyway i switched on the psp put the game in loaded it and came up " the game could not be started with the error code, so i tryed to update downloaded fine but when i go to install it come up with the error code DADADADADA etc !! what is goin on has this guy sold me a fecked psp or what??? i dont have a clue what any of these computer type words mean i have been readin on other post lol!! thanx people!

You got a custom Firmware. Try upgrading to a new custom firmware

my software is 3.10 OE-A what ever that means!!???

Okay, calm down. Its normal to have 3.10 OE-A. Just upgrade to a newer version of a custom firmware.

Custom Firmware are like modded firmwares that allows you to play homebrew games, download games, emulators or other weird stuff.

Do you want to keep the custom firmware or do you want it back to official firmware (the Sony one)

Sorry m8 just really pissed off with the guy who sold me it. i just want to play it normal the way u would if u bought it from a shop im not interested in downloading games and stuff you help is very much appreciated! cheers

now, what you need to do is to get back to the original firmware at 1.50

NAH IT DIDNT WORK MATE. DONE EVERYTHIN IT SAYS BUT WHEN I WENT TO RUN RECOVERY ON PSP IT JUST STAYS A BLACK SCREEN??

ok i have tried the recovery file with the update file in it and wouldnt work so have chucked the update file and just put recovery file in the psp-game files and tried it and sumthin seems to work but my battery is lower that 75 so will need to charge it first. do u think this will do it?

That's what you are supposed to do ... lol

you are going have to wait until it gets to 75%. It's a normal thing.
