Hello everyone! This is my forst post. I have lurked some but cant find what I am doing wrong. I soldered the chip myself.. that was quite a task! I bought a burned title Madden 09 and when I put the disc in I could see the icon in the disc window. When I click to start the game I get the infamous#001 error. I didnt get any update disc with my chip and I downloaded the wiikey.1.9s.us.rar like I have read. I burned the rar to dvd and when I load it into the wii I get a disc read error. Am I supposed to extract the file first then burn just the one file to dvd? DO I have to use a certain type of dvd? Also what do I do after I load the disc? Do I have to go into settings to start it or will the wii auto load the update? WHen I load the disc nothing comes up into the disc screen and when I click it I get the cant read disc error.. sorry for the long post but my kid is bugging me to play!

are you supposed to leave the file zipped? I just burned the utility disc's iso to a dvd but I'm getting a disc read error :/

You cant leave the file zipped...

It needs to be extracted and filechopped to 1.4 gigs. Guide on how to do so is available here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/597460
