5 years on the mod scene stumped with hitachi v78
Tried every version of fwtoolbox.Only to have variable differences.
Will not play new backups(S.C.IV,Mad09,Battlefield B.C>)Only older ones.
If i can use a different flasher or different firmware other than fwtoolbox on this drive can somebody suggest any others.

IF NOT

Is there a way to choose the firmware to use on fwtoolbox because i noticed it chooses automatically to different fw's when using different versions of fw toolbox.

I have access to all utilities just need a point in a new direction with this drive ,i have only heard that these drives are finicky but no soloutions as of yet.
