Ok I've been checking out many forums and they all have a whole bunch of rules and I'm not reading every terms of use on every forum because my house is very unpeaceful and there isn't much time to take a few minutes extra to check out the rules. Anyways, if you feel that you must report my topic for a violation go ahead but please at least recommend a good site that could answer my question without it being deleted. Anyways:

I'm very new to the whole modding chip concept so can someone please fill me in? I'd like to know how you can get them for free and how to get them and if their purpose is to provide unlimited games. How can I play many PS2 games for a small fee (such as tekken 5)? I have PS2 and PS3, how can I get unlimited access for either a small and guaranteed safe fee or just plain free.

To my knowledge, there are no free mod chips. You either buy them or some one gives it to you as a gift

The BPI Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, EMI.
The RIAA Soundexchange Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, EMI.
The IFPI Are: The same anti consumer lot as listed above!
The MPAA Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, DISNEY, PARAMOUNT, FOX.

Alright thanks, but do they provide free unlimited access to games and where could I find one cheap? Roughly how much would it be? Does there one exist for the PS3? And lastly, what use does the computer PS2 emulator have?

Uhhh, you do know you posted asking about modding chips for ps2/ps3 in a dvd ripping section. You may be able to get more help in either the ps2 or ps3 sections. Ask for a mod to teleport this thread to the relevent section.

There's no excuse for not reading our (few) rules here at this site. If you want the free help that forums provide you should be prepared to read a few rules, most of which can't be broken even by accident.

Anyways, i'll teleport this out of this DVD Ripping forum, please take the time to post in the correct place in future.

Oh, and i renamed the thread title from the irelevant "Huge forum problem".

And lastly, what are you actually asking ?, the features that modchips provide, or just how & where to get free games ?

thanks for your help Creaky on moving it and placing a better name, also I was asking about both because I don't know a thing about mod chips. And what method can be used to pay a small fee for something that will give me free unlimited access to free PS2 or PS3 games? Do mod chips do that? If not, what does?

Modchips do various things, like enabling backups to be played etc,
but asking where to get free games is not something that should be asked on our forums. Sure, free games are out there, but we won't help you with that.

Do you know which forum could help me with that and what are backups? I'm going to guess that they are games from foreign countries and an english backup game doesn't exist, am I right?

Google is everyones friend. Google "What are ps2 backups?"

You can get the answers for all your questions from about 30 seconds of googleing.

The funny thing is, google leads me to places like this, and once I'm here, I'm told to return to google, this cycle will go on and on and on...etc.

Alright thanks I finally found a place, what I should have asked was:
Is there a way to get unlimited access to games on PS2 or PS3 after paying one or a yearly fee?
