Comp running win xp, using nero 6 smart to copy. i'm backing up copy dvd's and the problem i'm getting is that even though the original back-up is fully functional when i come to play the duplicate i have just burned it plays ok except for the last 10 mins being missing. i have noticed that the burn mark on the dvd differs from that of the original back-up ( its smaller, less info burnt ).
Any info for fixing this prob is more than welcome cheers
HOW are you burning exactly in Nero? I can't be sure this is the case, but, your case sounds like something I discovered because I overlooked something in DVD Decrypter. I once had a disc missing the final few minutes of the movie itself, about 10 ironically enough. :) I discovered what I'd done. Instead of loading the .MDS file, or whatever it was in 2002, I forget, I loaded only the .ISO file. But, the image was split across 2 files, so, only partial information was burnt. (DVD D has since used a different file format if the image needs to be split. ISO is only used on NTFS partitions or if the image file is under 4 GB total.)
