Hello all I am new to this site please excuse me if I am in the wrong place. I just got a PSP today from a pawn shop and it has a memory stick thing and all and when I tried to put music and photos on the memory stick thing the came up an on my computer when I look at the removable device the stuff is there but when I put it (the memory card) back into the psp it shows the space is taken up but when we go to view the photos or the music it says digital camera I mages 0 images and when we look at the music it tells me the free space amount and says that there are no tracks should I jsut buy a new memory card or is something wrong. I also don't know how to change the passcode is there any way to override the current and select my own. I feel so crazy for buying a used product. My daughter wanted it so I got it. Can anyone help me guide me anything I will be so greatful.

thank you all so much for the quick response. I already reformatted the memory card that didn't work either we found another way around the whole thing and I was successfully able to get music and pics on the psp. Again thank you so much for your quick response.

I was asked what do I mean by passcode. In the security settings menu there is a place where you can do the parental settings, change password, and the launch internet browser start control. There it will ask you for your four digit passcode and since I bought this second hand I am not able to change those settings because I don't know the original owners passcode that was set. I bought it at a pawnshop. I wanted to know does anyone know how to override that original passcode and replace it with a new one.

To reset that PW, go to "restore default settings." in "system settings" and that will work.

No I have not tried reformatting it through the computer don't know how to do that. But I did try restore factory settings and the password was still there, is there a factory default number that they use for a passcode? Thank you all so much for your help this is such a great site I really appreciate all the helpful advice and suggestions you all have to offer. God bless you all.
