I accidentily deleted a few files about 4 months that I've found that I really need now. I haven't actually used the computer alot recently so it shouldn't have overwritten the raw data...

Just wondering if anyone knows of any free or easily accessible data recovery programs?

You can try the free "photorec" it can recover different type of files besides photos.
