PSP Screen flickering?

I dropped my psp and now my screen flickers (like when you cant get signal on a TV) and sometime the screen goes off completely. I have to tap the screen to get it to come back on.

Do i still have a warranty? it was bought last xmas. I also have custom firmware so will this void my warranty?

If it is void, could i fix this myself?

Any help, thanks!

YOU may have a loose connection on one of the screen cables if you are confidant enough to open your psp you could check this rather easily and fix it if this is the problem just be careful with the little cable where it connects to the motherboard if you break it its stuffed.Also if you think you might have warrenty just install official firmware with a magic memory stick or download the new recovery flasher and downgrade to 150 firmware if you have a fat psp then upgrade to another official firmware and send it back
