Hi everyone! I just built a new gaming PC and need some help with my settings. Everything is pretty much set to AUTO in the CPU/MEMORY bios department. Question is this.I dont really want to over clock my pc.(Well maybe a little). I really just want it "tuned" and I'm not sure exactly where to start. Is is ok to set my memory settings to what is stamped on the side of the mem stick? 5-5-5-15 2.10 volts?I read about tons of people pushing my exact processor well over 4ghz with no problems.. I want to know that with all this leeway in CPU/memory overclock settings I have available to me in the bios. My computer is running correctly with the componets I have installed. Mainly CPU/Memory settings. My games are blazing fast already!. Can someone give me a few pointers? I have everest ultimate edition so I can tell you anything you need to know about the PC.My specs are listed below. Thanks in advance!

As far as overclocking goes, you are fine to stick to the memory settings printed on your RAM, you're using Corsair so it will take it. However, your actual overclock will be limited because you have an insane amount of RAM, the more sticks of RAM you have (and to an extent how big the sticks are, capacity wise) the less of an overclock you can pull off. Start out small and see what you can achieve.
If you run your memory at stock settings(5-5-5-15) and at 1066mhz that's not really fine tuning it, it's stock. Although, don't expect much from that memory. It's already running overclocked at 1066mhz because the fastest memory they make is 800mhz.

No, what we're saying is that memory speeds faster than 800mhz do not exist technically, if you buy 1066mhz, you have bought 800mhz that has been certified to overclock to 1066mhz, which is why you had to set that yourself in the BIOS.
