I've got it set up as per the instructions, like so:
ISO/
[ put iso files here ]
ISOSPLIT/
[ splitted dumped ISO will be saved here ]
ISOMISC/
backpic.bmp : Background picture (standard)
PSP/
GAME/
FASTLOADER/
EBOOT.PBP : The fastloader
FASTLOADER%/
EBOOT.PBP : V1.5 exploit infofile
but when I go into Game, Memory Stick, all I get are two Corrupted Data icons that won't do anything. I tried playing around with some different options to see if I could figure it out for myself before bugging anyone by asking...and while I didn't make anything worse, I certainly didn't solve anything either.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Y would you use fastloader on a psp with cfw?????? its pointless And if for some strange reason you do still want to use it. Slim (do you have eloader ) download and install eloader from www.noobz.eu andinstall it on your psp then run the fastloader through eloader im not sure if it works on eloader or not and as i said its kinda pointless if you on a CFW

I'm totally clueless with this stuff. I basically only managed to install the CFW because the instructions I found on this forum were idiotproof. I'm just trying to run Azure Dreams on the PSP. I couldn't find an .iso of it anywhere except for torrents that never had any seeders.
I did get a .img of it and used MagicISO to convert it, but didn't really know what to do with it from there. Dropping it in the ISO folder didn't get me anywhere, nor did putting it in Games...googled how to run it, and fastloader was the answer that kept coming up.
If it's not necessary, then...how do I run them?

k what you want to do is make a backup of your saved data and then go into the system setting on your psp and choose format memory stick
then start up usb mode and you put the iso files in the iso folder in the start Directory on the memory stick and your game will need to be made with a program galled UMDGEN 4.00 google it and the drag your is file into the box and then choose to save it as a cso then put that file in ISO on your memory stick then go to game on your psp scroll down to memorystick and sellect your game:) sorry if im a but rushed my daughter is tryn to pust buttons lol

oops i understand the game you are trying to play is a ps1 game you will need a program called simple popstation gui beta 3 to convert ps1 game into Eboot format to be played on a psp also these eboot files must be put in a folder and then that folder put inside MS0/PSP/GAME
here you go http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/about60371.html

i think if you just back up the files and transfer them back on to your memorystick it should be fine you dont have to format your psp if whn you first open your memorystick on your computer one of the first folders you should see should be ISO if you have that dont worry about formating it or just make a backup of your whole memorystick and and then after the format put ur backup back on it after the format :)

Okay...let's see. I used Simple Popstation to convert the ISO, now I've got a folder "Azure Dreams - USA-NTSC" containing EBOOT.PBP
Before I do anything else...when you say to format the memory stick, do you mean through the PSP itself, or by selecting it as a drive from my computer?

Or...do I even still need to format it if I'm doing Popstation and not UMDGEN. I'm confused. Heh, what else is new. I've got PopstationGUI.exe, PopstationGUI.ini, vbpng1.dll, zlib.dll, and the readme...which, if I'm not completely PSP-illiterate, I don't need to do anything further with for the moment now that I've got the EBOOT.
That just leaves me with the Data, PSXCust and Themes folders that I don't know what to do with. If I do still have to format the memstick, is this gonna be a simple drag-and-drop operation, or am I gonna have to access the memstick via the command prompt and screw with anything in there...

Yeah, I already backed up the contents of the memory stick, but what I'm unclear about is exactly how to install popstation after I format it. The readme it came with has a dead link to the actual instructions of how to get it up and running.

nah you dont need to do any thing else with pops station on your psp its just to make the psone games on the computer :) just place the folder with the eboot that was made buy popstation in the GAME folder on your memorystick kk :) then go to the game part on your psp and choose memorystick down the bottom and then start your game hopefully :)

So I don't have to actually install any new application onto the psp...just drop the EBOOT into the iso folder and that's it?

Hm...well, it does work, Azure Dreams runs beautifully, damned near brought a tear to my eye...but now when I try to play a UMD it slows the PSP to a crawl. Tried playing FFT: WOTL and couldn't even get through the opening movie. I hit Home and tried to go back the the dashboard and it sat on Please Wait for 20 minutes before I finally just shut it off. When I turned it back on it worked fine as far as the menus and all go, and I loaded Azure Dreams back up and started playing it again, but haven't tried FFT again. Is this a common occurence?

Yep, that's got it. I don't recall setting it to 100, but it's back to Default now and everything works great. Thanks a million, I never would have figured this out on my own. x_x
