hey guys, friend just got a psp factory 2.71 with ic1003 in the umd drive, which means ta-082 i guess.
so you guys said ANY motherboard is downgradable at 2.71 even if it's ta-086? using d_a's downgrader for ta-082?
if so, then great, cause i got all the files for downgrade ready. only thing i need now is a hen-d installation tut, cause i cant find a readme in english in the hen-d package

its not about the mother board you have anymore as all mother boards are downgradeable but if you have 2.81 or higher firmware then ur screwed for a bit, just goto the home menu and goto system settings and check your firmware if you have 2.71 use the link in my last post and if you have 2.8 just let me know and ill post the link for that downgrader

you have to wait as of now it doesnt matter about the mobo as all are able to be downgraded but the highest version you can downgrade is 2.8 so 3.01 being a bigger number means ur screwed for a bit...also read above posts before posting stuff as i had just answerd this question and ppl will soon get pissed if you keep doing that....believe me i know....lol

john-e-i,
Im trying to downgrade my Friends psp with Dark_AleX's 2.71 downgrader.
in his UMD drive..it has the lettering ICB001
now i thought this was the TA-082 mobo unit?
when i run the installer n stuff..it goes into a black window
and a single line appears
"This PSP doesn't seam to be a TA-082 PSP."
kinda confused? lol it won't work. things arnt adding up to me
PSP -> 2.60 TA-082 + 2.71 - 1.5 + 3.03 OE-A + OE-B + OE-C + 3.52 M33 - 3.40 OE-A + 3.52 M33-4 + 3.71 M33-4 + 4.01 M33-2 w/ 1.50 k = dropped 1ft and lost my PSP permanently

ok well a ta-082 mobo has ic1003 so unless sony has gotten smarter and disguised the mobo you, you do not have a ta-082 but i need a bit of information from you in order to confirm this, how long have you had your psp?, where you first owner?, was it refurbished? and if the answer to anyone of this is no let me know asap or just look for a 2.71 downgrader thats not for a ta082 and it will b fine...post back as soon as possible

The following are for the EU/UK versions of the game:
GTA: LCS (Non-Patched 2.6 version):
ULES-00151#
GTA: LCS (Patched 2.6 Version):
ULES-00151#2
For the U.S version of the game:
GTA:LCS (Non-Patched Version):
ULUS 10041
do you think that the U.S. version of the game(ULUS 10041) is a non-patched version and can be used for downgrading from 3.03 into 1.50? because u need a non-patched version 2.0 gta:lcs for downgrading. and my gta:lcs version is 2.6, but in my gta:lcs case...there's a "ULUS 10041GH" in it. is it the same or is it different? can i use the downgrader?
