I could not believe it. My CS5K is alive again. I retrieved it from the basement this morning with a lot of dusts/ mouse pee and it is working right in the spot w/o a factory reset.I missed it so much.
Just load the bin 181, it is every where and let it go. If it does not work, do the factory reset. I also used the pro loader ver, 1,8,7

Hey coolnaza! Do you anything about dish set up? I heard that CS5K is working again, but IKE messed my dish up and now I can only get Ecs 110w not ecs 119W (No disney; my kids are killing me !!!!! ) I had this dish set up by some guy but he is expensive and I want to do it myself, except I'm a newbie and are not familiar with other than bins/files. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes cloaky..CS5K is back and hope they keep the support.You can get the dirreccion and altitud from your place,from a program that you can find in some of the sites.With a compass,just make a preliminary adjustment and using you tv as signal meter move the dish sideways until you get the strongest signal then adjust the elevation until again you get the strongest signal.You will need an assistant to watch the signal on your tv while you adjust.Unhless you have small tv and the box to use close to the dish.There are small meters(around $20)that are very handy and come with instruccions.
A good practic is once you have them align and working ,mark the moving part to the standing mast,so next time you get hit by a hurracaine,you just align the marks if they move.

coolnaza is right . But i just used pionts of reference like my neighbors vent on his roof a tree on the next neighbors houst . the tool shows you a google map view from your house to the satelite you need. just gets you in the ball park then adjust as coolnaza stated. I used my brother to scream "warmer warmer warmer Hot" and bingo . Im at 99% good luck.

Lol! Flexican. Thanx Coolnaza & Flexican we fixed the dish last night; I don't really know how but we aligned it!! I too hope that support stays. Thanks for your help guys :)

Now that you have it right,mark it.You can use a magic marker or whatever,so next time just align the marks and you are done.Just a suggestion,it works for me.

there r lots of fta out there. ftabins -best fta files-freedomfta. try this ill give you 3. if u fish round u could find a lot more.hope this helps u

Maybe you are looking in the wrong sites,I have never pay for one.
Franncis just mention a few,lot more around if you search good....all free!! good luck.

Guys,
I am having a problem with my CS5000.Since I, am using it back from the past 2 weeks, I cant have my local chanels anymore. I am in NY and there is no way for me to have my ABC. CBS.NBC. When I got to the menu and option, there is no way in there to get the listing for the local . Can some one help please.

I'm having the same issues,now it is going scrambled often and come back.I believe is the nagra3 switch over I have read in other forums.
Mine worked great until this morning.
Hope somebody have more info on this.

Anyone know why the channels keeps coming on and off. It would scramble for 30 seconds and then come back for about 5 minutes. Its been like that since yesterday... does anybody have any info???????

Everybody is having the same issues on DN.I read that dn is switching to nagra3 and there will be no bins until all the switchover is finished and the coders do their thing.It supposed to worsen as the switchover advance.Let's hope it is over soon.

First off dn is not on n3 yet... If you do a google search for norw-group they have their own sit and all they do is coolsat..
