Thanks for reading this. I believe on the old saying give me a fish and feed me for a day but teach me to fish and feed me for life. I am trying to understand so in turn one day I can help others, You have to start somewhere and I dont want a handout. SO heres my story> I have a fat PSP currently running 2.82. A couple years ago I used dev hok and would switch out umd to run iso off the mem stick. I no longer have that psp and the whole evolution off Sony vs the little guy has evolved. I want to run iso or cso off a mem stick. I researched and found i could do it the old way using LCS umd or Lumines much like I used to do. OR I could use firmware and still be able to use UMD if I chose.

1st Question - Is the Pandora battery and firmware better for my use or should I just stick with the oldway? Are there distinct pros vs cons just for playing ISO's or CSO's? Is there a certain firmware that better. Ive tried m33

2nd Question - After researching I tried a couple of methods I have found here and on the net. I made a Pandora battery myself. I believe It works, however the screen stays black whatever method I use and when I switch the battery out with a normal one my PSP is not bricked. I think my issue is that Im using Vista? does this sound logical? Does anyone have sucess using firmwae with vista? Tomorrow I will try using a buddies XP and running the whole process over again.

i dunno if you should really be posting your phone # on a public internet forum ..

anyways... yes vista could be an issue depending on how you made the memory stick... google "PSP Grader" its a utility to make the MMS that works even with vista.
