I have a d2sun and lastnight I think a PAL version of Mario Party might have partially bricked my wii. I hadn't updated my firmware in awhile.

After realizing that, and getting scared I mighta partially bricked. I went to system update and updated the firmware there. It updated without a problem. Then I tested my backups, and they still seem to play fine. So I don't think its partially bricked... but I don't know how to tell.

Would I have been able to do a firmware update from system settings if it was partially bricked?

If it was partially bricked the firmware update should have fixed it, right?

Thanks for the help, I appreciate any thoughts about this.

Vas

If you can get into system settings then you do not have a semi-brick.
