NTSC console play PAL games with Wasabi V1

Hello,

I bought a WII two weeks ago and I installed a Wasabi V1 modchip for a D2C chipset. The modchip works but I'm not able to play PAL games.

Does somebody know why?
What do I have to do?

Make sure you have enabled region free on the Modchip or use Gecko OS to boot the game disc.

You could also patch the game if it is a backup before burning.

Make sure the game disc is region free compatible.

Make sure you protect yourself against region bricks.

All this info can be found in previous threads so search and learn.

Hello,

thanks for your help, but I have additional questions:

How do I enable region free on the modchip?(I bridged point 1) on the Wasabi V1. I have a NTSC WII

How can I patch a game before burning?

What are region bricks and how can I protect myself?

I'm a newbie so please help.

Jumper 1 should be soldered for USA Wii systems. So you have that correct.
