I've used Waninkoko's DVD dump tool to dump a wii game. Because it was dumped directly from the wii drive, does this mean it isn't encrypted?
Can I just burn the ISO and play it no problem on a modded system?
Or do I have to decrypt it, and if so, using what?

That's not what I'm asking.
I need to know if the game dumps decrypted or if I have to decrypt it myself post-dump.
The Wii and Gamecube discs are encrypted, and decrypt on the fly by reading a barcode on the genuine disc.
So does Waninoko's DVD Dumper decrypt on the fly and dump a ready-to-be-burned iso, or do I need to use some tool to decrypt the iso I dumped?

I don't think there is any decryption that you have to "break". It's all about getting the .iso file. I think that as long as you have the .iso file you can burn it and go. The mod chip does the rest. Why don't you just burn it and find out, it'll cost you about 25 cents for the blank DVD! Make sure the .iso file is the right size 4.37 GB or 4,699,979,776 bytes on the properties screen. ---Chikn

Excellent advice...give it a shot and let everyone know how it turns out.

I'm still waiting for my replacement Wiikey from modchipcentral, so I can't test it.
I'll bring this thread back from the dead when I have the results :P

Using a softmoded gamecube, I test my dump of Super Smash Bros. Melee and it worked perfectly! That means Waninkoko's DVD Dumper decrypts for you on the fly! I highly recommend it, as you can dumo entire Wii and GC games over your home wifi (router) in about 2.5 hrs (Wii) and 1.5 hrs (GC)!
