it could be a number of things causing the problem

1. if you are using dvd shrink with Vista you must run in Compatability Mode. use this thread for more info

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/679509#4132877

2. dvd shrink and nero 8 are not compatible when auto-burning. you're options are create an image to the HDD then burn with nero 8 or imgburn or use this version or imgburn to auto-burn with dvd shrink. imgburn is the best option over nero 8

http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/DVD_Shrink_3_2_b_w_IB.zip

you could also use nero Recode 2 instead of dvd shrink being you already have nero 8

3. also you may have a media problem since you say the playback isn't working correctly remember to use good media like Taiyo Yuden ,Verbatim or Sony burn at 6x to 8x max. here are all the programs/info/guides you need to backup your DVDs correctly.

ok So i want to stick with dvdfab, imgburn and dvd shrink but I still cant get the imgburn onto my dvd shrink program. Sorry but I think I keep missing up this part ( Copy and paste the DVD Shrink 3.2_w_IB exe file into the DVD Shrink Programs folder, C:\Program Files\DVD Shrink .
(With only the modified Shrink exe from the zip file loaded the program will work, but some functions are lost. Use of stored Still Images and the Help files rely on installation files in Program Files.) Im not sure witch file Is dvd shrink 3.2_w_ib exe can you send me a link with just that Just so you know I already made sure I hade the compatibility set up right and Im using Sony DVD+R DVD's Sorry If Im a burden Im just really slow when It comes to tec stuff on here Thanks again

Does this ( you can create an image to the HDD with dvd shrink then burn with imgburn ) mean to save It to my hard drive after I use DVD shrink and then try to find It and burn It with IMGburn
