Dear All,

I have 2 consoles bought in Japan.
One of them is D2C2 and the other D2E.
I got them modded with D2D and D2PRO 9 yesterday.

I wanted to play some copied games, like Zelda, Mario, Ski, etc.
None of them work..
Either they ask for update which my modding guy told me NOT to do, or just get my console stuck after initial loading..

So frustrated..
Appreciate ANY help

If the game is asking for an update then you will need to perform it before the game can be played.

You could also use Wii Brick Blocker on the game ISO before burning it to disable the update that is on the disc.

Before updating make sure you learn about region brick issues which can be found in the ultimate sticky thread.

It is safe to update your Wii with a game disc if the game disc is the same region as your Wii.

You can brick or semi-brick your Wii if you update using a out of region disc that has an update on it.

The other issue your having could be a region compatibility issue. Not all games are region compatible.

If that dosen't answer your issue then maybe it is a bad Modchip or instilation.
