Does the 60 gig xbox360 have the lite on drive that cant be flashed.Im fixing to by my first xbox360 and want to make sure I get something I can flash.Which unit has the new lite on drive that cant be flashed.

most of the systems now have lite on drive. starting from couple of months ago. i believe may 2008 and so forth, MS has been replacing their dvd drive with lite on.

so do you have to get an older 360 to be able to flash it or does it matter.If I just go to walmart and buy a 60 gig will I be able to flash it

I have read the dummy tutorial and have gotten all the software,firmware and ordered the pci sata card because my computer is older and looked at the steps for all the drives in the guide to flash and it shows lite on drives that can be flashed.But I seen a post somewhere in this forum where somebody was talking about a new drive taht is a lite on that can not be flashed and i just wont to makesure I but a system that can be flashed.
