I cannot Transfer ANYTHING into the PSP! please help..

ok...
I've transfer music b4 into a psp and i know exactly how to do it. (This was a while back and i formatted my computer from that time period to now) But my friend just got the new NFL edition PSP and i brought it to me so i can put music on it. I know about the whole make a file called music and all that.
When I try to transfer ANYTHING into it acts as if it was copyin the file into it and maybe half way into it it stops and gives me an error.
something like "device not ready" and then it all disconnects and all the files disappear until i refresh.
Ive tried a different computer, different usb ports on the computer, and a different cable, and still NOTHING!!! ive done countless hours of research and none help.. =[
i even have Media Manager For Psp and it gives me the same error
anyone!! pleeeeeeaaase help!! ='[!!

have you tried formatting the psp memory card it may be that its a bit corrupt.

In this case you should try another memory card, how big is this memory card?
before you start putting files on to the new memory card, format it first so all of the right folders are already made.

i fixed it like an hour ago.. i tried the cable for the camera and that one worked perfectly fine.. hmmmm kind of a coincidence that all 3 of my psp cables were defective..

well the memory stick can be fake, but the problem was the cable.
