Everytime I watch people modding psp systems online they always make sure to hide the MAC address. What could happen if they don't hide it? Sorry if this is a noob question, but I honestly don't know. thanks!

Media Access Control addresses are kind of important because there are ways to copy the addy into a PSP, or some other device, and access the Internet in YOUR name. They can do some bad things. Then, when you go back on the Internet, they use DNAS to track you, and get you in crap.
