Hello everyone and anyone!

This is my first post and I need help if anyone can please be kind enough?

I have a UK Playstation 2 Slimline, version scph-77003. I have Street fighter 3 (Japanese) and would like to play this game by modding my playstation with a 'Matrix Infinity' or something similar.

My questions are as follows:

1. Can this still be done with the PS2 now being phased out?

2. Will this chip allow me to play all import games and multi region DVDs?

3. Where in the UK can I still buy such a chip, and does in come with the necessary tools (soldering iron ect) to allow me to do the job?

4. Is there a very real possibility that I will break my playstation for good by messing up what is surely not a straightforward job?

This subject seeems very complicated and if someone could please give me some detailed answers I'd be very grateful,
