problem with modding phat psp

hi

I have a battery service tool that I brought and have modded many slim psp. I try modding my phat psp and have no sucess what so ever. I got the firmware install and then it turn off and I put the battery tool back to reg. battery mode. When I go back to turn it on it load up to the date menu but none of the button work. I try pushing every button and switches and nothing work. I reload the firmware back to the psp firmware and everything work fine. I been trying a few time now and it all the same. Does anyone have any idea on why my button freeze up when I mod it.

Not sure if it matter but I been using my slim psp battery to turn it into service mode to modded my psp. Again it work on my slim but having trouble with the phat psp.

If the PSP your creating the Magic Memory Stick with has a custom theme then try revering it back to the normal theme. Then create the Magic Memory Stick.

This is usually the problem when you install CFW via Magic Memory Stick and only the time & date come up.
