hi everybody i have a xbox 360 vga cable and i want to connect it to my pc monitor how do i connect the speakers i have normal pc speakers thanks

Yes you can. You need an RCA female to mini stereo female cable. Most stores carry RCA male to mini stereo female cables. If that's all you can find get 2 RCA female to female adapters and you're good to go.

I have an audigy 2 zs, and bought the front panel for it online, and it has rca in connections. I can control the volume with my keyboard and it plays over my pc speakers great. i think they also make usb hubs that have rca inputs. This was the best option for me since I have pretty descent speakers.

ermm dont no if this helps but i just have a TV monitor.. has all the outputs of a tv including scart as well as HDMI.. all depends on what monitor you have really... so it is possible.. and got my speakers going to a sub... though even if you dont have them on the back of your monitor im sure you will be able to purchase come kind of converter.

i got it working with Allegro1 help and my vga cable is a joytech one and aparently there is ghosting because there is no shielding has anyone had this problem?

i got my vga cable on clearance from target for $14 and i'm not sure what brand it is though, but i don't get ghosting (42" HDTV)...i know that doesn't help you much, but just trying to offer some insight.

Ghosting often occurs from a bad connection or with poor cabling. You aren't using a VGA extension cable or female/male adapters are you? I've heard that Intec or other off-brand VGA cables suffer ghosting more than Microsoft cables and Monster cables are no better than the Microsoft ones, just more expensive. Typical ghost problems are from poor or no shielding. VGA over CAT5 cable is terrible.
I bought the MS ones on clearance at Toys R Us a couple of years ago and they work just fine with no ghosting.

You can always buy a MS cable and see if it is better. If it isn't you could return it and if it is better, then it's worth keeping.
