If I enable my wii to play online meaning haveing the wii connect24 crap on. Is there a way to eliminate the pop up message that says to update your system. I dont want to let me wife plays and that message pops up and she hits the wrong button. then i will have to put someone on time out lol

WiiConnect24 doesn't have to be on to use WiFi on games.

So if your that concerned then turn it off.
