Alright, so I found out about game saves on gameFAQs. I researched it, and found out I need to burn an ISO to a CD to be able to apply the saves, so I got uLaunchELF. I burned it to a CD-R, which at that time I didn't know what to burn it too. Then I got a
"Please insert PS2 version disc" or something of that nature. Wtf? I found out that I needed a DVD-R. I tried to burn a DVD-R in my Combo drive, and it wouldn't read blank discs, and I'm still awaiting to fix that problem, I'm getting a Cleaning CD today. I figured I should do the rest while I'm waiting on the CD. Then I found out I had to buy a flip top or modchip. I'm just a kid, I have no money. Then I found a guide on how to use Gameshark to swap the discs and be able to launch uLaunchELF to open my game save. But according to it, I have to actually go inside the PS2, and manually eject the CD Tray while the PS2 is on. Electrocution, no thanks.
So, is there any way to do this without having to risk destroying my PS2 by navigating around inside of it, and not having to buy anything? (Unless it's like ARMax, anything like thaat's fine). Thanks.

Lol? You don't get electrocuted by ejecting a CD tray...ever. You at least need a slide-card to do this, so you might as well buy Swap Magic 3, not too expensive.

going inside of a machine flowing with electricity touching parts in it doesn't get you electrocuted?
What exactly is a slide card? also, wheres the most trusted place to buy SwapMagic?

You're not poking around inside the PS2, you're just sliding a card into the tray to release it. Just google Swap Magic and you'll be able to find a site that sells them with a slide card. Some sites sell the flip top with the Swap Magic together.

Is there anything i can use to replace a slide card? Ipoked a credit card in the spot on the disc tray, ans slid it to the right, but it doesn't work. The tab I use is on the right of the PS2, not the front of the disc.

Thanks, I got one now.
I've inally got everything to play backups, except my PS2 is broken. My disc tray got unaligned or something. It takes a few seconds, like 5, to open the tray. It doesn't even read my disc.

I just cleaned my laser, and it still won't read any games. Does this mean it's time for a new PS2? :(

or you can buy a new ps2 fat laser online, it's about $45-$50 and you have to install manually. If you didn't void your warrenty you might be able to sened it in ... chances are it's probably too late
